Made slowly, on purpose
At Ababa we believe objects should be lived with, not just looked at. Each piece in this story was made in small batches by hand, so small variations in tone and texture are part of the character — not a flaw.
The best objects disappear into everyday life and quietly make it better.
How we approach it
We start with honest materials — stoneware clay, solid oak, natural linen — and let the process show. Reactive glazes pool and break over edges, oils deepen the grain of timber, and washed linens soften with every use.
